"Sochacka's performance has an austere, almostemotional

imperviousness to it, but not oneleads to boredom. In fact,

thelistener becomes an outsidereagerly looking in, trying to

understand the mystery. (…) Sochacka surmounts the

technical challenges with ease whileclearly enjoying the

playful and eccentric humor."

The New York Classic Review

"Joanna Sochacka explores with intelligence and great

pianistic culturethe very different sound worlds (..) she

showsextremeconcentration in theslow movement, while

thelively and dramatic finaleis stupendously virtuoso. The

pianist has no troubleeither with the virtuosity of the Etudes

either: she plays them razor sharp."

Pizzicato Magazine

"Sochacka performed an over-hour-long

repertoire with imagination, sensitivity and

strength that areextremely rarefor young

artists. Sheis not only playing.

Shelives in music "

General Anzeiger, Bonn

"Sochacka bringsout a kaleidoscopic array of

nuances and colour. She shows dazzling harmonic

interaction with breathtaking dynamic. "

World Music Report, Canada
